WELCOME TO THE DE NITTIS CHOY LAY FUT KUNG FU SIHING EMANUEL GALATI SCHOOL

Our Rules

1- School rules must be respected

2- A Kung Fu school is not a modern club, a course, a recreational center or a democratic discussion forum

3 - Every student accepted by SiHing becomes part of the school and will represent SiHing and the school with his or her behavior outside of Gwoon.

4- Anyone with an incorrect attitude (according to Kung Fu standards) will be rejected or asked to change during a probationary period. If the attitude does not change at the end of the probationary period, the student will be expelled.

5- It is important to remember that the SiHing, as was already the custom in ancient times, is more willing to accept a less talented but loyal and dedicated student than a talented person who lacks discipline and control.

6- When SiHing explains, all students should pay special attention. When students are corrected, they should not complain, but be grateful.

7- All students are brothers and sisters.

8- Each student will support his or her siblings, protect the weaker ones, and help anyone in need. Students will not show anger toward other siblings, will be sincere and honest, and will not abuse their friendship and trust.

9- Every student is humble and avoids any form of exhibitionism.

10- Every student will honor SiHing and his Kung Fu family

11- Every student defends and supports the name of SiHing; he will not lie or betray the SiHing.

12- No one can show or teach the art of the school without the formal permission of the SiHing and the Sifu.

13- All students in the school will be respectful towards their parents, protect and respect the elderly, the younger and the weak.

PHILOSOPHY

Our Principles

Home: Service

The De Nittis Kung Fu Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Association was founded in 1997 in Parma, Italy, thanks to Sifu Gianni De Nittis' passion for Chinese culture and tradition.

Our association was founded on the basis of the ancient Chinese schools of Kung Fu (Gwoon).

Our goal is to deeply understand Kung Fu in its roots, values, martial traditions and ethics.

This association is not based on ranks, belts, training courses, online courses, etc.

We believe that the only way to improve is to practice in our Gwoon with dedication and commitment.

We are distant and dissatisfied with the modern commercialization of this art.

The course we offer requires seriousness, discipline, motivation, respect, honesty, humility, courage and compassion (in Chinese Wu De).

TRAINING FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

7-13 Years
Mon / Fri 6:00-7:00 PM

Practicing Kung Fu helps improve concentration, attention, visual and spatial coordination, flexibility of movement, posture, and health.

Kung Fu helps children in modern society, often without the opportunity to express their individual energies, to become aware of their nature and the harmony of their movement.

Help create a safe place where respect for values, rules, and community is essential.

From this point of view, Kung Fu is not just a discipline to achieve perfection of body movement, but a life experience as a whole.

In our Gwoon, children practice to achieve these goals:

1- Improved flexibility

2- Balance and coordination

3- Self-control and focus

4- Fighting techniques (single pair)

5- Body formation

6- Bu Xing (basic positions)

7- Bei Fa (weapon techniques)

8- Tui Fa (leg techniques)

9- Kung Fu language

10- Teamwork through play

11- Strengthen the reference to positive models and examples

12- Self-confidence

13- Friendship

14- Respect

15- Patience

16- Discipline

ADULT TRAINING

Mon / Fri 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Choy Lay Fut is an aggressive, solid, highly sophisticated, and effective fighting system. It is one of the few traditional styles that is practical and suitable for self-defense.
Our training takes place step by step in a cultural and traditional context.
The adult program is an in-depth exploration of all the principles of the Kung Fu Tradition passed down from Sifu Gianno De Nittis to SiHing Emanuel Galati.
The study of style includes the following:
1- Choy Lay Fut Tou Lu
2- Traditional combat training (punching techniques, kicking, sparring, footwork)
3- Traditional combat applications (system strategy, San Sao, Sao Fat)
4- Conditioning
5- Weapons

QIGONG & Tai Qi

Saturday 11:00 - 12:00

Mental concentration, meditation, breath control, and specific physical movements make up the practice of Qi Gong, the age-old art of improving and strengthening health.
Qi Gong could be translated as "breath and mind technique" and refers to the work (Gong) to harmoniously circulate air/breath/energy (Qi) throughout the body to better balance the mind.

The goal is to improve the body, breathing and psychophysical health.
From a health perspective, this technique allows for constant strengthening of the osteoarticular and cardiovascular systems. It improves vital functions and respiration, reorients posture, and stimulates the nervous system and internal organs.
From a martial arts perspective, Qi Gong plays a role in strengthening specific muscle groups for combat, increasing the strength and power of the legs and strikes, and improving the body's perception in space.
Qi Gong can be practiced statically or according to predetermined movements.

In addition to this centuries-old practice, our school also offers the study of Tai Chi, a true martial art defined as internal, which, thanks to its fluid and harmonious movements, allows you to improve balance, proprioception, stability, muscle tone, coordination and overall psychophysical health.

The practice of Tai Chi can then be explored in depth to enhance its more “martial” and applicative aspects.
